A few days ago we brought you news that the Mazda3 was recently named to Kelley Blue Book's KBB.com list of 10 Best Back-to-School Cars of 2016. Today, we have similar news that further cements the Mazda3's place as a stylish and safe option for younger drivers.

A 2016 Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the Mazda3 was chosen as one of the Best Cars for Teens in the $25,000 to $30,000 category by U.S. News & World Report, for offering the ideal combination of quality and safety for teens on the road. Mazda3's suite of available advanced safety technologies, known as i-ACTIVSENSE, includes features such as Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC), Smart City Brake Support (SCBS) for low-speed braking, Smart Brake Support for highway-speed braking, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, among other features.
