We always knew our new Mazda vehicles boasted exceptional fuel economy, and now it's confirmed from the Environmental Protection Agency that the Mazda brand actually takes home top honors!
Recently, the EPA released its Light Duty Fuel Economy Trends report. The average fuel economy in light vehicles in the U.S. in 2013 hit 24.1 miles per gallon. That's a 5 mpg improvement since 2004!
Furthermore, it revealed that, for the second year in a row, Mazda Motor Corporation is crowned the most fuel-efficient auto manufacturer in the United States. The company boasts the lowest-adjusted CO2 emissions of 316 as well as the highest fleet-wide adjusted fuel economy of 28.1 miles per gallon.
Thank you, SKYACTIV® TECHNOLOGY, for providing vehicles like the 2015 Mazda3 to reach high fuel economy rates (41 highway mpg!).
